Capture Deep Cleaning Powder is a soft, delicately scented powder composed of thousands of tiny, porous particles that resemble tiny sponges. These particles adhere to and "lock on" to the dirt and odor particles that become attached to your carpet fibers.
One pound of Capture Carpet & Rug Dry Cleaner can clean 100 square feet, making the Capture Kit sufficient for cleaning most high-traffic areas in today's homes.
Capture dry carpet cleaning does not destroy your carpet's soil-resist or stain-resist treatment. However, regular foot traffic can diminish the effectiveness of these treatments. It's recommended to reapply stain-resistant treatments after every two to three carpet cleanings, or after each cleaning if the carpet is not professionally cleaned every 12 to 18 months.
Capture carpet care products do not contain any chemicals that can remove color from your carpets or rugs. None of our products contain bleaches, ammonia, brighteners, or other color-removing agents.
Capture can be safely used on all carpets and rugs, including those made of wool. It is approved by the Wool Bureau and will not harm the fibers or the rug.
For carpets and rugs without a pile, such as sisal or sculpted berber, first apply the PreMist, then GENTLY brush it in, followed by applying and brushing in the Capture powder. The tighter construction of berber may require a little extra PreMist to enhance the Capture powder's performance.
